Lufthansa makes New York Fashion Week reach new heights

Lucky passengers traveling to New York Fashion Week on  flight no. LH400 from Frankfurt to New York enjoyed two fashion shows and three expert talks, and they had the opportunity to try out various innovative wearable technologies.

The passengers were able to see Rubin Singer’s latest collection for women, getting an exclusive preview of the designs before the official runway presentation at New York Fashion Week.

It’s not just the passengers experiencing the fun, but also the airline’s crew, who got to present their own fashion show with uniforms inspired by looks from the past 60 years. You know who else got a makeover? The airplane itself. Also, the event is dedicated to all of the passengers of the plane, regardless of whether they are sitting first class or economy class.

An other interesting event was the presentation of the new  Navitimer Heritage design by Breitling (watch brand). In addition to this, some even luckier participants were selected to take part in an exclusive Breitling which will also take place in the Big Apple.

The models on board were styled using Redken products and the passengers received a gift bag containing some of Redken’s cosmetic products. In addition, Lufthansa held a raffle, during which a lucky passenger won a Redken makeover with a professional make-up artist. The winner got a makeover during the flight and got to arrive in the Big Apple in style. What more could one ask for?

We don’t know about you guys, but we certainly wish we could have been on that flight from Frankfurt to New York, not to mention the fact that the experience was totally TD! If you or one of your friends were the lucky passengers on the flight, please write to us about your experience during this opportunity of a lifetime.
