Style Trends Hot From the Grammy’s 2017 Red Carpet

So the much awaited Grammy’s are behind us for the year. Stars have put forward their best looks and made style statements, both positive and negative. Now it is up to us to decide which fashion leader to follow and which ones to unfollow.

So without further ado, let’s get into some of the most prominent styles from the Grammy’s red carpet. For a change, let’s not narrow down our research to individual celebrities from the A list.
We’re looking at style tribes this year.
Which styles were most common at the event, which ones have created waves in fashion and which ones looked best.

Refreshing greens and olives

Green has already been declared as the pan-tone color of the year. And there were not just one but many celebrities that showed up in this gorgeous color. What’s striking about the trend is the fact that fashion leaders are coming up with new and innovative shades and tints of the color. Adele and Shaun Robinson were spotted in Olive green, one of the most flattering versions of the green color. At the same time, Solange Knowles wore a striking metallic tone of green and Tori Kelly added a Bohemian element to forest green in a Boho-chic dress.
Something tells me that this trend might spill over at the Oscar’s red carpet as well. What do you think?

The evergreen black

We all know black will never go out of fashion! Now it has become more of a go-to style of the red carpet. Because you just can’t go wrong with the color (unless you really try). Black outfits at red carpets are not exactly a new trend, but some of the style statements created at the Grammy’s this year are definitely worth a mention. Chrissy Teigenm who never fails to make jaws drop at red carpets showed up in a beautiful black gown with side cut-outs and laces. Even Kristin Cavallari and Tinashe accentuated their waistlines as well in black gowns with flattering silhouettes. Another celebrity who wore a lovely dress in black was Laverne Cox.
One thing we noticed about carrying off black is that metallic accessories and jewelry are the way to go.

It’s spring time and it’s the red carpet. How can anyone ignore florals?
It seems to be everyone’s favorite print, including celebrities. At the Grammy’s this year, there were minimalist floral prints as seen worn by Malina Moye, and there were also ultra-glam looks with glitter, embellishments and everything as seen on Elle King. A more edgy style was also seen in florals worn by Sibley Scoles as well.
