Stella McCartney’s tribute to George Michael @Paris Fashion Week

All fashion shows are “competing” to be the best and the same goes for fashion weeks. As it seems so far, Paris Fashion Week has not yet ceased to surprise us with unique shows that surpass one and other by every day that passes. This was also the case of Stella McCartney’s show, which had a special moment in store for us.

On Monday, the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week came to life as fashion designer Stella McCartney showcased her designs through dancing models who wore here signature oversized clothes in her trademark neutral shades that were splashed with unusual colors.

The British fashion designer is famous for her sharp tailoring. In addition, she is known for achieving the perfect combination between sporty and luxury looks. These attributes were all shown in her Fall / Winter 2017 women’s collection where there was a mixture of burgundy, sky blue, bottle green, white and silver.

The models gave the outfits a both relaxed and effortless elegant vibe. The pieces shown on the runway were trench-coats and jackets, all-in-one jumpsuits and overalls, ultra-wide, high-waisted trousers, and turtle-neck mini-dresses with super-sized sleeves.

The most talked moment of the fashion show was the finale. Instead of opting for something traditional like a finale walk, models at the British fashion designer’s show sang and danced to the late George Michael’s hit song, “Faith”. According to the Stella McCartney, the entire fashion show was inspired by the singer George Michael and it represented a tribute to the artist.

The finale was one of those feel-good, goosebumps-inducing moments that don’t come by too often on the runway and TBH it was the perfect way to kick off a Monday. It made the most hated day of the week to be less painful, right? What do you guys think?
