The sixth collection of designer Jason Wu for the BOSS women’s line is very vibrant and is one of the most colorful ones so far. Starting with architectural lines inspired by photographs of David Hockney with pools and vivid colors, Wu represents sportswear and unique details, combined with sensual materials and clippings that show a little skin, perfectly unfinished cuts and feminine dresses.
The inner bands, adjustable straps and bulky pockets, brought BOSS line in a new, sporty direction. Layering is the essence of the collection, with a finely woven robes and feather-light cannons of lace and chiffon.
Electric blue, Scarlet red and vivid green runs through the entire collection and are connected to camouflage floral motifs that are in excellent agreement with jacquard, or manually embroidered lace. Tweed with raw edges, transparent organza, French lace and crepe with a complex cut are a major part of the BOSS collection. These unique materials rely on the experience of the BOSS women’s collection with mixing traditional techniques with innovative, while details are in the form of asymmetry and clips are added to give a modern sense to the whole collection.
In a series of vibrant colors, accessories stand out incredibly good. Leather tote bags are completely bright, contrasting edges and with adjustable straps which also represent the same details in the ready-to-wear collection.
