What’s In Store At Coachella 2017? The First Weekend Schedule Is Out!

Set aside all other plans for this weekend because COACHELLA IS HERE!!

What more reason do we need to celebrate? In fact, what else does the whole world need to celebrate and have some fun over the weekend.
Starting today, we’re about to witness some of the most iconic living legends in the world of music in action over a 3 day weekend.

Yes, the Coachella Music Festival is finally here and this time it looks like it’s going to be bigger than ever! And worry not, because here we have the whole schedule for the weekend, so that you can be prepared. You don’t wanna miss your favorite singers, we know.

For those of you who don’t know about Coachella, let’s take a brief look in to what it is before we get into the schedule.

What is Coachella?

The Coachella, which is actually the colloquial name for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, is basically an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California which is located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.

It is a massive event in music, and features a number of musical artists from various genres of music such as rock, indie, hip hop and electro dance music (EDM). It also features a number of art installations and sculptures by well-known artists.

Well, now that you know what it is, let’s head right into the schedule without further ado.

The Schedule

Coachella recently released its entire schedule for the 3 day weekend, kick-starting today, that is, the 14th of April.
This year, the event is scheduled to host up to 200 performances spread across 7 stages.
American hip hop artist Kendrick Lamar will be closing the festival on Sunday night.


Here are some noteworthy, “not-to-be-missed” acts from the 3 days:

  • On Friday – Travis Scott, DJ Shadow, The Avalanches, Denzel Curry, Stampha and Stormzy
  • On Saturday – Thundercat, Gucci Mane, Majid Jordan, Future, Schoolboy Q and Tory Lanez
  • On Sunday – Hans Zimmer, Lil Uzi Vert, Kaytranada, Skepta, Kehlani and of course Kendrick Lamar

Now you don’t have to worry if you can’t make it because Coachella’s got your back. The performances are all gonna be livestreamed, including Kendrick Lamar’s. The livestream will begin at 5 PM ET today.
