We all remember the hype and hysteria over Prince William’s and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding don’t we?
I mean, it was one helluva moment when Catherine Middleton went from being an ordinary girl to the Duchess of Cambridge at the Westminster Abbey on the 29th of April in 2011.
The media was going haywire on finding out as much details as possible about the wedding, including the royal wedding gown, the bridesmaids, the best men etc.
So it comes as no surprise when we see just as much craziness on the internet over Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding.
So here’s the thing, the news is right, Pippa Middleton will be marrying her fiancé James Mathews later this year. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are likely to play key roles at the wedding too.
Considering the fact that Pippa Middleton is a party planning expert, I’m pretty sure that it will be one hell of an event to remember.
So here’s everything else we need to know about the wedding.
Pippa’s fiancé, James Mathews is a hedge fund manager. He proposed to her last summer in the Lake District area. Now they have been dating for only one year but they have previously been romantically linked.
The wedding will be on the 20th of May. This date has been recently confirmed, after a long time of speculation.
The wedding ceremony will be held at St. Mark’s church in Englefield, Berkshire. Later on, the reception will be held at Carole and Michael Middleton’s (parents of Pippa and Kate Middleton) home Bucklebury Manor. Interestingly, it happens to be a Grade – 2 listed historical residence.
Will Kate be the bridesmaid?
Apparently not. Even though Pippa served as the maid of honour at Kate’s wedding, the Duchess of Cambridge is not likely to be a bridesmaid. Prince George though will be the Page Boy and Princess Charlotte will be the bridesmaid.
Who is invited?
It has been speculated that Pippa is likely to enforce a “no ring, no bring” rule – which basically means that only people who are married or engaged can bring their partners to the wedding.
Now this pretty much rules out Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle.
However, yesterday we came to know that Meghan was invited to the reception and not the ceremony.
So there you have it – all the low down on one of the most important weddings in the UK. Now let’s wait to see what Pippa Middleton will be wearing for her big day.
